December 5th, 2009My gallery will be in a mess for some time, meaning that there will not be any categorisation for the images. You might see an mix of portraits, products and interior… but mostly portraits. I will be thinking whether to redesign the whole website or make a menu at the gallery page.
Until then, please bear with the messy un-categorised gallery! Sorry for the mess!

January 11th, 2010Here is a behind-the-scenes shoot for my friend who dressed up in drag.
(first, get rid of the eyebrows)

Malvin + Geraldine RAW
January 10th, 2010here is how i got a couple of images from Malvin + Geraldine’s Wedding Preparation, the first one will be the chinatown photo.
(this was the image used, but she isn’t giving the right expression. we can fix that with another photo)
(the bride’s face from this image was used instead)
(if you have noticed, the sky is pretty bland too, so i used an image i took when i was in thailand and put it into the first photo)
(clean up some stuff on the road, warm up the image, blend the sky in and this is what i get)
another image would be the guitar shop photo, it was made up of 3 images.
(first image with 3 flashes. 1 main one on the subject, 1 to provided some pop at the edge and 1 on the background)
(Malvin remained in position so Amir knows where to look. 2 flashes on the background subject)
(a 3rd image was taken so that i have proper exposure of the shop and i get the glowing ceiling lights)
(put them all together and this is the final image)
BKK trip (24 Dec – 4 Jan)
January 6th, 2010I don’t usually take many photos of my holidays to BKK, so this trip is no exception.
(liquor for the first 2 1/2 nights. total nights of drinking = 11)
(i went to watch Sherlock Holmes at Esplanade Cineplex)
(they sell beer!)
(i paid 500THB for the show, because i didn’t wanna wait 2hrs more for the cheaper one)
(waiting lounge, magazines to browse, drinks, snacks are part of the package)
(its actually meant for couples, but i went alone. blanket, pillow, reclining seats FTW!)
